trimoore training camps cater to the levels of the athletes attending, the camps are most suited to those with some triathlon experience, however if you are of a reasonable fitness and want to learn some triathlon skills then please get in touch.

To get the best riding experience you will be cycling fit and confident riding in a small group. There will be a maximum of 2 cycle ability groups and you should be able to sustain 14-15mph / 16-18mph. The terrain will be a mixture of flat/undulating as well as mountain climbs.

The accommodation will be a licensed luxury 5-bedroom villa in Port Pollenca within a short walk of the beach:      

Places are based on sharing a twin room with en suite in 4 rooms and an adjacent bathroom for the 5th room.

The catered weeks will include an on-site chef who will prepare breakfast and dinner for you (6 nights with a meal out on the final evening).

During the self-catered week each room pair will cook one 2 course meal for the house at their expense, the pair can then sit back and be fed for the remainder of the week! This approach has been tried and tested on previous camps, it works really well and creates a great social atmosphere.

On the final evening we will celebrate a great week of training with a group meal at a nearby restaurant.

Training Plan & Coaching

Each week will be run by a level 3 triathlon coach supported by a level 2/3 triathlon coach and a bike leader.

Details of the training plan will be distributed to athletes a few weeks before the camp and typically includes:

  • 5 x bike rides

  • 3 x runs (including a track session)

  • Bike / run brick

  • 3 x sea swims

  • Triathlon skills coaching

  • Core routine & stretching

  • Swim video analysis (optional) – 5 euro additional charge to cover pool costs
